One of the key goals of our Coalition’s establishment, work and cooperation is to prepare and submit a coordinated report on children’s rights to UN bodies, especially to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, thus helping to ensure that children’s rights are more effectively implemented.

In 2019, 18 organisations of our Coalition, with the assistance of individual experts, prepared and submitted an alternative report on Hungary to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child. The report was presented by UNICEF Hungary on 20 November, the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, to Hungarian professionals, decision-makers and the wider public at the World Day of the Child.
